Do not send your money to an unfamiliar money fund that may not be federally insured and may change management fees. Set up a money market at HSCU today.
The minimum balance to open and maintain a money market account
is $5000. Additional deposits may be made at any time and in any
amount through payroll deduction, in person, by mail, or as part
of a direct deposit.
Dividends are calculated on the daily balance method which applies a periodic rate to the daily balance in your account during which applies a periodic rate to the daily balance in your account during the period. Dividends are paid at the end of the month, resulting in monthly compounding.
If your account is close prior to the end of the month, accrued dividends will be paid to date of closing. If your balance falls below $5,000, your savings will earn at the basic share rate on the days the lower balance is maintained.
Our tiered structure pays increasing annual percentage yields on
daily balances. A deposit balance in a specified range earns dividends
back to the first dollar for every day the amount is on deposit.

- $25,000 - 74,999
- $75,000 +
Funds may be withdrawn in amounts of $250 or more. There is a limit
of six withdrawals/debits per statement cycle in any combination
of the following:
- Telephone or computer transfers (6)
- Pre-authorized transfers (6)
- Automatic transfers to checking (6)
- Third-party checks and debit card point-of-sale (3)
If your balance falls below the minimum daily requirement, your account will be subject to a service fee of $5 for that month. NSF drafts, returned items, or stop payment requests will be charged according to ACU’s current Fee Schedule. Also refer to that schedule for other fees that may be charged against your account.
You may conduct an unlimited number of personal withdrawals at
our teller windows, at automated teller machines, or per instructions
by mail.
